Anto joined HMA in 2014 bringing 35 years of experience and knowledge working in the major event, restaurant, hotel, airline and industrial catering industries, including over 30 years at senior manager level. Key sectors of involvement have included commercial and contractual, design and process improvement, high volume production, supply chain and procurement, product to market solutions through to General Management levels.

Anto commenced his career in hotel management with Southern Pacific Hotels (now Rydges Hotels and Resorts), before moving to restaurant, hotel and resort management in Australia and overseas.  Following this he led large teams for the planning and operational delivery for Villages’ Catering for both the Sydney Olympic and Manchester Commonwealth Games. Anto also has an impressive record of managing three Airline Catering units across Australia primarily focused on strategic positioning, operational performance, negotiation of significant contracts, industrial relations and business development.

Whilst at HMA, Anto has worked with the team on developing catering, operational and performance solutions for Sydney Cricket Ground and Sports Ground Trust, Ascham School, Sydney Theatre Company, Maitland City Council, Barangaroo Delivery Authority, Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, South Australian Government – Department of Corrections, Venues Canberra and Venues New South Wales.  These roles have included specifying desired outcomes, qualitative and quantitative business analysis and improvement, marrying operational outcomes with design solutions, selection of catering providers and ongoing performance management for the benefit of the business and the patrons.

Anto has worked with a diverse range of clients assisting businesses to develop operationally sound, innovative and long term profitable business models.
